Andreas Knoepfler, Director Product Management at Wieland-Werke AG | Thermal Solutions. Having more than 23 years’ experience in heat transfer solutions with different responsibilities and functions, ranging from research and development, business development to project and key account management. Holding various patents in manufacturing enhanced heat transfer surfaces for shell and tube heat exchangers, applied in different industries, e.g., process technology such as LNG pre-cooling cycles or air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating equipment. As part of his curriculum vitae, he has been focusing on joint development work with globally operating key customers and well recognized cooperation partners. He paid special attention on the introduction of new heat transfer technology in the LNG Industry, which did allow for more efficient and sustainable equipment design and improved processes. He holds a diploma degree in process engineering from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany.
