The input that I want to make to the conference’s programme
PC member since 2013, I do represent the shipping segment as a critical element of the LNG value chain. In addition to chair the LNG shipping stream and supporting the LNG as fuel, I am willing to co-chair with Vincent Demoury one LNG forum as we have done during LNG2019. I’d like to select the best innovative papers that will shape the future of a responsible LNG shipping industry with less environmental foot print while keeping the safety and performance at highest standards.

What do I expect from LNG2023?
A forum gathering people from all generations and origins to discuss the essential role of LNG in our energy security and how to lay the path for a greener LNG value chain through innovation.

Biography 

Aziz Bamik joined GTT, the leading engineering company in the shipping and storage of LNG and other liquefied gases, in 1999 and has served as General Manager of wholly-owned subsidiary GTT North America (GTT NA) in Houston since its formation in 2013. Based in Houston, he manages all the activities in the American continents.

Before assuming this position, he occupied various positions at GTT SA in France, including R&D Engineer, Project Manager, and Director of Business Development.

Mr. Bamik was awarded the U.S. Coast Guard Meritorious Public Service Award in 2017 and has been nominated as French Foreign Trade Advisor for the French Government in 2018.

Mr. Bamik received his degree in Engineering in France.
