Kaushal is the Head of Rystad Energy’s Gas and LNG Analytics and manages their published LNG research on LNG trading, shipping, and investments. His advisory work in Rystad Energy includes project economics, LNG contract negotiations, gas infrastructure planning, regulatory impact studies, and market entry strategies. Prior to joining Rystad Energy, Kaushal worked multiple roles at ExxonMobil, managing commercial operations of LNG and condensate cargoes from the Gorgon project, gas and power sales contracts in the Asia-Pacific, and operations planning for their Singapore refinery. He also advised spot LNG cargo trades, LNG contract negotiations, and farm-in and farm-out decisions of regional gas assets.
