The marine industry is evolving rapidly and facing many new technical and commercial challenges. This evolution also brings new opportunities. The maritime stakeholders are required to move quickly to become compliant with stringent regulations coming into force and to become more competitive. On the other hand, the technology is evolving quickly, especially in the LNG segment with alternative solutions that are currently proposed in new ship designs.

This session will address highly interesting developments in LNG carrier and LNG fuelled ship designs from a technical and commercial angle. New ideas will help to boost confidence to respond to the increasing LNG demand as an energy source and as a marine fuel.

A panel of experts will take a closer look at:

  • The future of the LNG carrier
  • New initiatives in LNG bunkering
  • New technologies for LNG fueled ships
