Canada aims to have one of the most sustainable, responsible, and inclusive natural gas industries in the world. As one of the world’s largest producers of natural gas it continues to showcase how development can co-exist with environmental stewardship and Indigenous reconciliation. Many Canadian projects use hydroelectric power to achieve record-low emissions and plan to meet Net Zero targets set by the government.
This session aims to show the unique strength of Canadian LNG projects from the technical and commercial perspective. The speakers will explore:
- What are the challenges and solutions when designing and building LNG projects in Canada?
- How are Canadian LNG projects ensuring they significantly lower their GHG emissions?
- What are the real-life examples of Canadian LNG project initiatives to deliver on Net Zero goals?
- What is the future role of Canada’s LNG supply to the global market?
